HOQUIAM, WA, July 23, 2008 (Press Release) - Enterprise International Inc. (EII) is pleased to announce that it has acquired all assets of Montreal based RCL Packaging whose business included new equipment, parts, bale press upgrades and press-related and field services, and all related drawings and technologies.
The acquisition was part of the settlement of a lawsuit brought by EII against the Defendants; RCL, Metacad 2000 Inc., Robert Giambattistini, and others for misappropriation of Lamb Technology owned by EII. As part of the settlement the Courts have ORDERED that the Defendants for a period of five (5) years are not to participate, alone or with others, directly or indirectly, in any business anywhere in the world which has activities selling in the world parts market (including merchandise parts) to be incorporated into Lamb Equipment and acknowledges that EII is the sole owner of Lamb Technology.
All RCL orders for spare parts, bale press upgrades and press-related services will be transferred to Oval International of Burlington, Ontario, Canada and Hoquiam, Washington, U.S. Oval International, an EII subsidiary, is an authorized licensee for Lamb Technology.
Any new roll or bale finishing and de-wiring equipment, machinery upgrades and field service related to the Lamb Technology installed base will be transferred to Legacy Automation Inc. (LAI), Hoquiam, Washington, U.S., also an authorized licensee of Lamb Technology.
