Surprise, crude oil price goes up

PORTLAND, OR , July 03, 2008 (RISI) - Crude oil for August delivery rose $2.60 to close at $143.57 a barrel in New York yesterday, after a U.S. government report showed an unexpected decline in inventories, and also because of a weakening US dollar.
